Legal Assistant

Our client, a prestigious international law firm is currently looking for a Legal Assistant to join their growing and upbeat offices in Budapest. The Legal Assistant will become a key member of the practice group, assisting to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations and the successful work of a leading Partner and other lawyers.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Composing and editing legal documents, contracts, presentations, correspondence
  • Organizing meetings, travel arrangements, handling phone calls
  • Keeping contact with clients, public notaries, external translators and suppliers
  • Managing mails and filing documents
  • Formatting offers and presentations
  • Managing the leading Partner’s calendar, outlook
  • Organizing business meetings
  • Managing administrative tasks related to the daily operation of the office

Main expectations:

  • Some relevant experience gained as a legal assistant, supporting teams or leaders at a law firm or multinational company
  • Experience with managing suppliers and working effectively across cultures is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills
  • Proficiency in MS tools; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills, both written and spoken
  • Professional, confident, positive attitude with strong work ethic
  • Pro-active with the ability to build connections and gain trust with colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills with a flexible nature
